Oil prices rose today more than a dollar a barrel, supported by production cuts and indications of a gradual recovery in demand, while easing restrictions to contain the Corona virus.
Reuters reported that Brent crude rose 1.33 dollars, or 4.1 percent, to 33.33 dollars a barrel, after touching the highest level since last April 13 in the previous session.
West Texas Intermediate, the US crude, rose $ 1.65, or 6.5 percent, to $ 31.08 a barrel, after recording the highest level since March 16 in the previous session.
July's most traded contracts recorded $ 31.05, up $ 1.53 a barrel.
