In this context of health crisis, entrepreneurship is not really popular ... Business creations fell in April, showing a decline of 33.5%, all types of structures combined, after a month of March already in 25.4% decline. These are the creations of conventional companies which collapsed (- 42.1%), ahead of the new registrations of microentrepreneurs (- 24%). Self-employed people suffer particularly. An investigation by the Union of Autoentrepreneurs (UAE) shows that their activity, during confinement, was reduced or stopped net in 83% of the cases. In fact, a fifth does not plan to resume or continue their activity in the coming weeks. "The microentrepreneurs are partially disarmed but have not lost the will to do,assures François Hurel, the president of the UAE, for whom "entrepreneurship could constitute a response to the uncertainty of wage earners".
