While management offers a bonus of 15 euros / day to group employees for a period from the start of confinement on March 16, to April 12, the CGT requests a bonus until May 11, for employees who came during the entire period. Challenging a "Covid agreement" signed with the other unions, the CGT called on employees to declare a two-hour strike on Friday, at the start of the afternoon and at the end of the day, when they were hired. Contacted by AFP, the management of Charal, headquartered in Cholet, was not immediately available.
" We are three sites in France of the Bigard group, to have had a strong activity since the beginning of the containment, we had hours galore, orders ": a bonus until May 11 would make " on average 600 euros per employee , it's okay, ”said the union member. Charal-Cholet employs around 1,000 people, according to the CGT.
