Controversies surrounding the takeover of Orchestra Prémaman

Is it better than Orchestra Prémaman, in receivership, either taken over by a Saudi distributor or by its boss? The fate of the childcare and children's clothing brand is the subject of controversy. The context is particular: an ordinance of May 20 facilitates the takeover, via a disposal plan, of a company in receivership by its manager.

Orchestra Prémaman was in difficulty before the health crisis, because of the fall in the birth rate and the development of the second hand. Its turnover fell by 1.3% to 563.5 million euros for the year ended end of February; its debt exceeds 220 million euros. In September 2018, the company obtained to be placed in safeguard procedure by the commercial court of Montpellier. Procedure converted into receivership on April 29.
