The production of companies affiliated with the General Corporation for Chemical Industries during the first four months of this year amounted to 4.6 billion Syrian pounds.

In a statement to a delegate of SANA, the Director-General of the Foundation, Dr. Osama Abu Fakhr, said that the percentage of the total implementation of the companies ’production plan amounted to about 78 percent of the value of its plans amounting to about 5.9 billion pounds.

According to Dr. Abu Fakhr, the Arab medical company, Tamiko, won the largest part of the value of production, as its achieved production during the same period amounted to about 1.6 billion pounds, followed by the General Company for the manufacture of shoes with a value of 1.4 billion pounds, then the General Company for Illiteracy illiteracy by about 830 million pounds.

Dr. Abu Fakhr stressed that the percentage of development in production compared to the same period of the previous year reached 147 percent, where the actual production value for the corresponding period of the previous year reached about 3.2 billion, and the rate of development of sales compared to the previous year was 165 percent, where sales were recorded at the time 2.4 billion liras.

Regarding the inventory, Dr. Abu Fakhr indicated that there was a slight increase in the inventory of the beginning of the year by about 813 million pounds, as the value of the stock at the end of April reached 3.6 billion, while the value at the beginning of the year was 2.8 billion pounds and the increase in the stocks is mainly in companies (Tamiko .. shoes .. Paints) which are within their natural limits.
