Sales have been stopped since the end of March and, to relaunch them, the government introduces from Monday its assistance system for the purchase of cleaner vehicles.

The decree published Sunday in the Official Journal first establishes, until the end of the year, an increase in the ecological bonus for buying a new hybrid vehicle, which goes from 6,000 to 7,000 euros for individuals and from 3,000 to 5,000 euros for businesses and communities. It also creates an ecological bonus of 2,000 euros for the purchase of a rechargeable hybrid vehicle (electric petrol) and increases the conversion bonus up to 3,000 euros for a thermal vehicle and up to 5,000 euros for a vehicle. electric or plug-in hybrid.
In addition, the ceiling of tax income allowing to benefit from higher premiums is raised to 18,000 euros. Finally, the scrappage bonus for the replacement of one vehicle with a less polluting one is extended to petrol vehicles registered before 2006 and to diesels before 2011. Other measures will remain in place next year, such as doubling , within the limit of 1000 euros, the improvement of the conversion premium for people living or working in areas with low emissions.

All of the measures aimed at supporting demand and helping builders represent an effort of € 1 billion, on a sector support plan exceeding € 8 billion which notably includes guaranteed loans and Partial unemployment.
