Work on the creation of a new insurance system for businesses in the event of a future pandemic is advancing rapidly. Parliamentarians, business representatives, insurers and brokers, who have been working on the subject with Bercy since April, will each deliver their copy this Friday.
The subject is sensitive. Since mid-March, a number of companies and businesses have criticized insurers for not having covered the loss of activity linked to the Covid-19 pandemic. "This unprecedented crisis has shown the limits of insurance systems" , explains to Figaro Florence Lustman, president of the French Insurance Federation (FFA).
