Iran has announced an increase in the amount of natural gas production in the country's refineries by 24 million cubic meters per day.
A spokesman for the Iranian National Gas Company Mohammad Asgari said in a statement today that the total daily production of natural gas in the country's refineries is currently 674 million cubic meters, an increase of 24 million cubic meters compared to the same period last year.
He said that the average daily production of the country's refineries from natural gas in the same period last year amounted to 650 million cubic meters, noting that the total daily consumption of natural gas is currently 540 million cubic meters.
