Gold prices rose today after increased demand for the yellow metal due to fears of a second wave of corona virus emerging in the world.
Reuters reported that gold prices in spot transactions rose 0.2 percent to 1725.88 dollars an ounce, and US gold futures rose 0.2 percent to 1735.10 dollars.
As for other precious metals, palladium fell 1 percent to $ 1905.22 an ounce, heading for a decline for the second week in a row, while silver fell 0.7 percent to $ 17.39, while platinum gained 0.6 percent to $ 809.22.
