Installed in his cage, "Isaac" - so named after the science fiction writer Isaac Asimov - seized, this February morning, with his large mechanical arm, boxes which he placed on pallets. Installed since 2017 in the Posson Packaging factory near Sablé-sur-Sarthe, it will be joined in September by a colleague, dedicated to sorting on pallets. The installation, scheduled for spring, has been postponed due to Covid (even if the site has not stopped). Employees have already found a small name for it: "Tetris", like video games. A way to tame these equipments, which change the way of working in this factory manufacturing cardboard packaging for manufacturers of food, hygiene and health, or household appliances."There may be reluctance at the beginning on the part of some, which requires explaining the benefits and doing a lot of training," said Sylvie Casenave-Péré, president of this SME of 130 people.
