Special correspondent in Limoges (Haute-Vienne)
If opening its doors to a company visit is not always self-evident for a boss, at Bernardaud's, this approach was obvious as early as 1998. Close to the center of Limoges (Haute-Vienne), labeled Unesco's creative city, the porcelain factory built in 1863 offers guided tours all year round, without reservation from June 1 to September 30. “ I am very attached to this tour, especially since there was a high demand to discover our know-how. We are the most important manufacture in Limoges and one of the few to remain family owned. So I had a responsibility towards my city and my business ”, confides Michel Bernardaud, the chairman of the executive board, fifth generation at the helm of the company, stamped living heritage company and which employs around 400 people.

Since 1991, the white porcelain workshops have been transferred to the production site
