The national government extended until August 31 the term to regularize Debts of Profits and Personal Assets  and, in addition, it will allow to do it in three installments with a payment on account of 25%.

The measure was made official in Resolution 4758/2020 published this Monday in the Official Gazette and bears the signature of the head of the Federal Administration of Public Revenue (AFIP), Mercedes Marcó del Pont.

The benefit was valid until June 30 for individuals and large companies, but the Government decided to extend it as part of the relief measures following the coronavirus pandemic.

The resolution considers that this postponement will contribute "to the regularization of its obligations in income taxes and on personal assets corresponding to the 2019 fiscal period."

In parallel, the Executive Branch sent a moratorium bill to Congress in the last few days that allows to pay in installments the tax, social security and customs debts contracted until last June 30.

The block of deputies of the Front of All, led by Máximo Kirchner, will begin to define this Monday the scheme to approve this initiative, which could be discussed on Wednesday in the Budget and Finance committee.

Although the initiative sent by the national government has broad opposition support, the Together for Change interblock anticipated that it will request that article 8 of the Social Solidarity Law be maintained so that debtors from the game and fuel tax and an achievers award is established.

The vice president of the Together for Change bloc, Luciano Laspina, stated that "we raise the need to reward good achievers, taxpayers who pay in a timely manner."
