      • Steve Easterbrook, the company's CEO from 2015 to 2019, was fired after having sex with an employee. He denied having any more relationships and received a compensation package.
      • An internal investigation at McDonald's later revealed that Easterbrook had more relationships with facts, all in agreement. He will also reward a worker in shares worth hundreds of thousands of dollars.

That this relationship also harmed McDonald's financially, with Easterbrook making sure one of the facts received a package of shares of the company worth hundreds of thousands of dollars.

      The amount for which Easterbrook was sued is about $ 40 million, the value of the compensation he received from the company. McDonald's claims that if they had known before the dismissals about the additional relationships that Easterbrook had, they would not have agreed to pay the compensation, since he violated the company's policy, which prohibits him from having a relationship with facts. The reason he lied in the dismissal process lies in the fact that he knew that a smooth separation would entitle him to compensation. Since the internal investigation revealed that he did not tell the truth, now the network wants the money back.
