" All the teams have been tested twice, " said the management of this institution open in Saint-Tropez (Var) since 1887. " The results allow a calm reopening ", according to a press release. Sénéquier had decided to close on August 13, after the discovery of two cases of Covid-19 among its employees.
An emblematic place
Located on the port of Saint-Tropez, where it offers a privileged observatory on the yachts of the world jet set moored opposite, the Sénéquier café and its famous red armchairs and tables were made famous by Brigitte Bardot in the mid-1950s. , by sitting there regularly during the filming of " And God Created Woman ".
The painters Matisse and Picasso and more recently, Karl Lagerfeld, the model Kate Moss, the singer Vanessa Paradis, but also the former President of the Republic, Jacques Chirac, were seen there, contributing year after year to establish its notoriety.
