Oil prices fell today by about 3 percent, heading to suffer the biggest weekly loss since June, amid growing concerns about weak oil demand due to the slow economic recovery due to the Corona pandemic.
Reuters reported that the international benchmark for Brent crude fell $ 1.88, equivalent to 2.5 percent, to $ 42.99 a barrel.
West Texas Intermediate crude fell $ 1.22, or 2.7 percent, to $ 40.25 a barrel.
Brent is heading for a decline of 4.5 percent on a weekly basis, while West Texas Intermediate is heading for a loss of 6.3 percent.
