Pushed by the unions, the employers agreed on Tuesday to open negotiations on telework, with a first meeting scheduled for November 3.

The CFDT, CGT, FO and CFE-CGC declared on Tuesday that they would participate in the negotiations, but the CFTC had given itself one day to respond.

The CFTC's participation in these discussions “

will obviously aim to take advantage of the opportunities offered by teleworking (reconciling working hours, limiting transport times, etc.).

It will also and above all aim to protect employees from the damage that could result from an abusive generalization of telework

”.

This working method “

must not become the 'dominant way of organizing work'

”.

Only simple and readable rules will make it possible to reconcile these issues.

As such, the CFTC questions the statements announcing an agreement that is neither normative nor prescriptive.

The CFTC will be firm on this point

”.

The CFTC demands that the future agreement be "a

common framework for all!"

".
