Oil prices rose today amid a new wave of Coronavirus infection in Europe, prompting several countries to re-impose travel restrictions.
Reuters reported that the Brent futures contract was settled up 17 cents, equivalent to 0.4 percent, to $ 41.94 a barrel.
US West Texas Intermediate crude futures rose 38 cents, or 1 percent, to close at $ 10.31 a barrel.
