This tax on commercial areas brings in one billion euros per year, according to the French Commerce Council.

For the revival of France and its trade, we believe that it is preferable to immediately waive a billion in taxes to allow traders to modernize and develop a sustainable activity, source of new tax revenue.

", he specified in particular.
As part of the recovery plan, the government has planned to reduce production taxes paid by companies by 20 billion euros, a measure long demanded by employers.
