You have to be a fan to take a cruise these days.
Maybe even an ultra fan like the elderly lady from the Sauerland, who complains of her suffering in the sunshine on deck 14 of "Mein Schiff 6".
The trip around the Greek islands is her 50th sea voyage, but now she needs a champagne "because I'm so sad".
Two other cruise giants of the TUI fleet are to blame, which are just passing close by, the "Mein Schiff 3" and "Mein Schiff 5".
Due to the corona, the two have been in the eastern Mediterranean for half a year, only occupied by a rump team.
Your visit should be a surprise for the passengers of "Mein Schiff 6", a nice greeting and a signal: Look, the TUI fleet is alive.
For the elderly woman from the Sauerland, the meeting of the sister ships is more of a wistful warning: She has already booked the next trip for November, with the "Mein Schiff 3" to the Canary Islands.
But more than ever it is uncertain whether the trip will take place.
