From Monday 28 September and until Sunday 11 October inclusive, establishments that do not offer food must close at 10 p.m., latest deadline.
Only restaurants with a large catering license may remain open.
As regards establishments having both a restaurant and bar activity, they will no longer be authorized to serve alcohol from 10 p.m., except as an accompaniment to a meal.
Rules that do not apply only to Paris but also to ten other cities, areas placed on

Since Friday, professionals in this sector, already heavily impacted financially by the health crisis, have continued to express their dissatisfaction.
A collective was also created around the slogan #restonsouvert and organized a gathering on Sunday in Paris where the owners of bars and festive establishments were present.
The collective also published a statement on Twitter calling from Monday

"turn up the volume to say no to the imposed closure of their establishments and the stigmatization of a profession"

Sanctions up to administrative closure
In Nice, some bosses even called for
“disobedience”
, the day after Olivier Véran's announcements on Wednesday evening.
“We call for total disobedience.
We will not close at 10 pm! ”

Failure to comply with the new measures imposed could however be costly for those who risk it, as stated in the press release from the Paris police headquarters.
"Offenders will be fined, and establishments open to the public in violation of sanitary rules will systematically be subject to administrative procedures which may go as far as closure"
