Entertainment giant Disney announced on Tuesday the loss of 28,000 jobs in the United States, in its activity which includes amusement parks, cruises, events and related products, hit hard by the crisis sanitary.

The decision comes from
"the prolonged impact of Covid-19 on our business, including capacity reductions at sites, in connection with physical distancing, and uncertainties over the duration of the pandemic",
explained the group in a statement. From April to June, the turnover of this activity had plunged 85% year on year, to 983 million dollars.
