The Wirecard headquarters in Aschheim near Munich was again searched by investigators.
According to SPIEGEL information, the search is also in connection with a credit line of 100 million euros that Ipex-Bank, a subsidiary of the state development bank KfW, granted Wirecard in September 2018.
No hedging transactions were made for this, which is why there is a risk of total loss.
The Munich I public prosecutor neither wanted to confirm nor deny a raid when asked.
"We continue to investigate openly because of all possible offenses," said a spokeswoman.
You do not want to comment on every step of the investigation.
The new search also involved money laundering, in which case the Frankfurt public prosecutor was in charge.
The law enforcement agency has so far not provided any information on the case upon request.
In June, the payment service provider Wirecard had granted air bookings of 1.9 billion euros.
The Munich public prosecutor's office assumes that Wirecard has shown fictitious profits since 2015 - and is investigating, among others, for commercial gang fraud and breach of trust.
