The appeal was filed by LR president of the Provence-Alpes-Côte-d'Azur region, Renaud Muselier, and about twenty other parties, against the total closure for two weeks.

UPE13 is one of the 23 parties who joined Renaud Muselier in filing his appeal against the closure decision announced last Wednesday by Olivier Véran.

The Minister of Health then justified this choice by the passage of the Aix-Marseille metropolis, like Guadeloupe, in a zone of "maximum alert", that is to say where the incidence rate is greater than 250 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.

In an attempt to defuse the anger of professionals in the region, Olivier Véran organized a meeting with local elected officials on Friday.
