Oil prices rose today by more than 2 percent.
Reuters reported that Brent crude rose to $ 40.11 a barrel, achieving a profit of 84 cents, equivalent to 2.1 percent.
US West Texas Intermediate crude rose 91 cents, or 2.5 percent, to $ 37.96 a barrel.
Prices had fallen by more than four percent last Friday, after US President Donald Trump announced that he had been infected with the Coronavirus.
