With October already started, the Government continues to spin around what will happen with

the fourth payment of the Emergency Family Income (IFE)

.

From ANSeS, the body in charge of paying the $ 10,000 bond, they had anticipated that the continuity of this benefit would be defined before the end of September, but so far there is no news.

One of the alternatives that is not ruled out is that the announcement is made by President Alberto Fernández himself this afternoon, after the meeting that he will hold with the Industrial Union, the CGT and the CTEP, the central of the popular economy, to launch the delayed pact Social.

What has not yet been resolved is whether this coverage will continue to be broad and will reach

9 million people

, or will it focus on the most vulnerable sectors, among those that identify young people.

What is clear is that if

there is an IFE 4, it will not begin to be paid this week

.

Until now, each batch of the bonus was paid together with the start of the Universal Child Allowance (AUH), which has the next collection date on October 8.

Once the payment phase of the AUH ended, they began to collect the rest of the beneficiaries of the voucher through a bank transfer.

Thus, the payment schedule for each phase of the IFE lasted between 8 and 6 weeks.

"Faced with different versions that the payment of IFE 4 begins on 10/8 in conjunction with the beneficiaries of the AUH, again we must clarify that this

is NOT true

. Anses has never confirmed that calendar nor has it announced the continuity or not yet of the bond ", they indicated from the organism that directs Fernanda Raverta.

Therefore, despite the fact that we are already entering the last quarter of the year,

there is

still

no definition

about what the IFE 4 will be like, what the amount will be, who it will benefit and when it will begin to be paid.

The resolution of the issue is in the hands of the President, who must find a formula that combines the budgetary restriction facing the Government -

each batch of the IFE has a cost of $ 90,000 million

- with the social deterioration evidenced by the rise in unemployment and poverty , and that according to analysts will extend over time.

From what transpired, the most likely option is that the original aid be redesigned to transform it into

a benefit that is focused on young people

and that begins to be articulated with employment programs.

"We are evaluating whether there is a fourth payment from the IFE or we are going to build other accompanying social policies," Raverta had assured days ago.

Today the IFE reaches 9 million people.

Three batches have already been paid -each of them for $ 10,000- and so far it has included AUH holders, unemployed, informal workers, domestic workers and monotax workers of categories A and B. It does not reach retirees or pensioners or those who receive unemployment insurance.

Within the IFE there are

2.5 million beneficiaries who are between 18 and 24 years old

, which represents 28% of the total.

This means that half of the young people of that age group are receiving the bonus.

This is the segment that the Government seeks to shore up, since it is the one with the highest unemployment rates.
