The effects of the corona pandemic and the debacle surrounding the 737 Max aircraft in the accident are causing the US aircraft manufacturer Boeing to slide deeper and deeper into the crisis.
In September, the group did not sell a single aircraft, as Boeing announced itself on Tuesday.
At the same time, customers withdrew orders for 51 jets last month.
The Boeing crisis is partly caused by the problems with the 737 Max: After two crashes of the medium-haul jet, possibly due to faulty software, authorities around the world imposed take-off bans on this type of aircraft in March 2019.
This year, global air traffic collapsed as a result of the pandemic.
Thousands of passenger planes have been unused on the ground for months.
Many airlines are struggling financially and are canceling new jet orders.

In total, Boeing delivered just 28 aircraft in the third quarter of 2020.
In the same period last year there were 63.
There are 67 aircraft orders on the American order books this year - but 448 cancellations due to the economic turmoil in the aviation industry.
Rival Airbus delivered 57 jets in September alone, more than twice as many jets as Boeing in the entire quarter.
However, Airbus has hardly received any new orders either.
Boeing has laid off thousands of workers this year.
The company has not yet accepted state aid due to the corona pandemic.
Instead, Boeing management is trying to counter the downturn with private billion-dollar loans.
