"In total, 14,000 claims should be recorded for a cost of insured damage which should reach 210 million euros

", mainly for damage to homes and to a lesser extent to professional and agricultural property, said the federation in a press release.

This amount is distributed “

between damage caused to homes (72%), professional and agricultural property (25%) and cars (3%).

It does not include damage to public infrastructure that is not insured, ”

the statement said.

These figures are not final.

They constitute a provisional estimate which may be revised in the coming days when all the affected areas have been made accessible and all claims have been made.

In this regard, the federation specifies that insurers have extended the legal deadline for reporting claims, so that victims can report their damage until November 15.
