Molière warned us:
"Almost all men die of their remedies, and not of their illnesses."
This sentence of the
Imaginary Patient
is, of course, to be relativized and qualified.
In the open space, the slightest warning signs of a weakness in an office neighbor are monitored and interpreted ... A slight cough makes the entire office space jump, even if it is depopulated in these times of teleworking .
God knows that the patient is not always what we think: as proof, the many asymptomatic cases of Covid-19.

In the office, patients fall into several categories.
On the one hand, the eternal subscribers to the bundle of paper handkerchiefs and to various and varied small weaknesses.
On the other hand, those who, despite an incessant cough or obvious signs of fatigue, do not want to hear anything: they are quite able to work on the spot.
They are not going
"all the same to let themselves be defeated"
by a small cough.
Finally, there are those who - do not pretend ignorance - from the slightest symptom or the slightest anemia take the opportunity to stay at home!
Statistically, you should also know that work stoppages and the quality of the atmosphere in a team are linked ...
Nevertheless, we must be right.
Molière welcomed us at the threshold of this column, Montaigne accompanies us.
He always aims just as well:
“You don't die because you are sick;
you die because you are alive. ”
This does not mean - especially in these troubled times - that you have to be zealous and stay at all costs in the office ...
