Oil prices rose slightly today, supported by the possibility of agreeing on an economic stimulus package in the United States.
According to Reuters, Brent crude futures rose 73 cents to set the settlement price at $ 24.46 a barrel, and US West Texas Intermediate crude contracts increased by 61 cents, recording $ 40.64 a barrel.
Both crude contracts lost more than three percent yesterday, in their heaviest daily losses in three weeks.
