The American internet giant Amazon launched its e-commerce platform in Sweden on Wednesday, the first in the Nordic countries, but whose debut was marked by a series of failures.
After years of speculation, the platform confirmed its intention to set up in Sweden during the summer.
If the Amazon.se site is the first of the juggernaut in the Nordic region, the Swedes - like their Danish, Norwegian and Finnish neighbors - could already order from the German Amazon site for a long time.

The first Swedish buyers, however, quickly reported on Wednesday a series of spelling errors and translation errors on the site.
For Nicklas Storakers, CEO of price comparison site Pricerunner, the launch is an "
insult
" to Swedish online sellers.
“
It's the worst shoddy job I've ever seen,
” he said on the Breakit website, also noting the apparent lack of discounts on launch day.
While customers in Sweden can now have access to more than 150 million products "
including tens of thousands of products from Swedish companies
," Danske Bank analyst Daniel Schmidt doubts Amazon could become so dominant in Sweden than in the US, UK and Germany.
“
It's different coming to Sweden in 2020 than entering Germany and England 20 years ago,
” he said.
