With the coronavirus crisis, many entrepreneurs in so-called priority neighborhoods are having difficulty accessing banking services, taking out loans, etc.
According to the Ministry of the City, the situation for some has become "extremely fragile".
To bring them a little air, an exceptional bonus of 1,500 euros will be awarded to 5,000 entrepreneurs established in these neighborhoods (QPV).

This exceptional bonus should therefore allow entrepreneurs, without employees and whose company was created before March 15, 2020, to supplement their own funds "to avoid the cessation of massive activities in QPV in the coming months", specifies the Ministry.
According to a June 2020 study by the Public Investment Bank, 32% of QPV entrepreneurs experience difficulties accessing banking services.
In these neighborhoods, 40% of the population lives below the poverty line.
“Only 22% of the inhabitants of the districts obtained a bank loan”, according to this study, however “this figure is 29% on the rest of the territory, which represents a high statistical difference.
There are in France a little more than 1,500 priority districts, in which 40% of the population lives below the poverty line.
In addition to this bonus, the government announced last week an increase in aid for “free jobs”.
This aid allows companies which hire QPV inhabitants on permanent contracts to obtain 7,000 euros the first year instead of 5,000 euros (then 5,000 euros the following two years).
A device which was to end on December 31 of this year but which has been extended by one year.
