A Qatar Airways flight has become a scandal.
Before the start from Doha to Sydney, all female passengers were asked to go outside to undergo a compulsory gynecological examination, apparently because the mother of an infant left on a toilet was wanted.
The Qatari government has since confirmed the incident and announced an investigation.
According to new information from the Australian government, nine more aircraft have been checked.
The German-Australian business lawyer and constitutional law expert Wolfgang Babeck, 53, was on board the aircraft for flight QR908 on October 2.
In the SPIEGEL interview, he reports what happened on board that day.
SPIEGEL:
Mr. Babeck, in addition to your work as a commercial lawyer, you also advise countries on constitutional issues.
How do you rate the process that occurred on board QR908 on the morning of October 2nd?
