Oil prices have fallen more than 3 percent today and hit their lowest level in five months.
Reuters reported that the Brent crude futures contract for December delivery ended the trading session down $ 1.47, equivalent to 3.36 percent, to settle at $ 37.65 a barrel after it fell earlier to $ 36.64, the lowest level in five months.
US West Texas Intermediate crude futures fell $ 1.22, or 3.26 percent, to settle at $ 36.17 per barrel, after touching its lowest level since mid-June at $ 34.92.
