The Prime Minister, Engineer Hussein Arnous, stressed during a meeting with the Board of Directors of the Syndicate of Financial and Accounting Professions the importance of optimal investment of financial, economic and accounting expertise to play its role in developing the various aspects of economic work in the public and private sectors and to participate in making decisions that enhance the resilience of the national economy.
Eng. Arnous pointed to the government's continuous endeavor to enhance partnership with professional organizations and unions that are an important national companion and to benefit from their experiences in drawing strategies, describing economic problems and finding appropriate solutions to them, calling on the union to present proposals that would contribute to developing government work in terms of controlling spending and directing it to productive projects and developing Legislation regulating economic institutions and investing their expertise in an optimal manner in addition to presenting constructive and objective ideas to develop economic decisions and employ them in a manner that improves service and living conditions.
The Prime Minister expressed the government's readiness to provide the requirements of the union’s work and expand its activities to include a wider segment of graduates of economic specializations throughout Syria and support them to participate in the financial, accounting and economic sectors.
The proposals during the meeting focused on the necessity of organizing the financial and accounting professions, expanding their participation in the economic sectors, enhancing communication channels with the public and private sectors, raising the wages of accounting expertise, issuing decisions that link graduates of economic specializations with the labor market and investing the expertise available to the union to participate in making economic decisions related to its specialization and developing laws and legislation.
