” suggesting journeys by metro, RER, private car or scooter, announced the group on Monday.

Third most consulted mobility player in France, after Google Maps and Waze, Mappy is strengthening its subsidiary RATP Smart Systems, the group announced in a press release.

The amount of the transaction was not disclosed.

The next step for the two companies: “

In Île-de-France, the RATP group's digital services will include, in particular, a complete mapping of the region, a pedestrian and bicycle GPS as well as the addresses of professionals.

It will also be possible to book and pay for trips there.

The group will then be able to offer this turnkey mobility solution to other cities and regions.

Across the country, Mappy's multimodal comparator will integrate new partners and offer an offer combining car, parking and public transport.
