Gold prices rose in a limited range today, as investors expressed optimism mixed with caution about the victory of Democratic candidate Joe Biden over his rival, President Donald Trump, in the close proportions of the US presidential elections.
Reuters reported that gold rose in spot transactions 0.3 percent to 1909.41 dollars an ounce, while it increased in US futures 0.7 percent to 1909.80 dollars.
As for other precious metals, silver rose 1.4 percent to $ 24.23 an ounce, while platinum rose 0.6 percent to $ 874.98 an ounce, and palladium rose 0.6 percent to $ 2302.67 an ounce.
