"

The insurrection, we will not advocate it, we the Confederation of traders of France, we do not have the right

", declared its president Francis Palombi during a convention of the Banque de France on the situation of SMEs and very small businesses (TPE).

"

We understand this distress, this revolt, but to say that it is good to find ourselves at 500 with all the health risks of contamination that it can represent, that still requires to be considered

", added Mr. Palombi.

"

We are in a state of law and we wish to respect it,

" said the president of the CCF the day after this demonstration of traders who asked the government to "

review its copy

".

"We want to reopen"

Mr. Palombi, however, gave his full support to the demand of traders to be able to exercise their activity.

"

A major, supreme demand: we want to reopen, we don't only need help, we want to reopen, we want to reopen, we are not the most dangerous

", he insisted, referring to the risk contamination.

"To

tell us that we will radically compensate for the turnover lost for closure by click-and-collect and by sales by appointment, that is not true

", he also underlined while remaining encouraging that the crisis is accelerating the digitization of businesses.

We did not realize that we were dropped on digital.

Now we want to double mouth

, ”he said.

According to Mr. Palombi, the crisis "

kicks us in the butt to move forward

".
