Children have until December 15 to write to Father Christmas if they want to receive a response, La Poste announced on Monday, which will open its secretariat in Libourne (Gironde) on Thursday.

Children can send a handwritten letter by simply writing "

" on the envelope - without putting a stamp - or choose the electronic version on groupelaposte.com/pere-noel by choosing "

This site also invites them to click in a Christmas universe, to fill their virtual hood, discover the “
bedtime counter
”, participate in a writing workshop or learn to pronounce and write “
Merry Christmas
” in 19 languages.
The secretaries of Santa Claus - volunteer postal workers and temporary workers - will send them in return "

La Poste indicates that it sent 1.2 million letters and 80,000 e-mails to Santa Claus last year.
