Istanbul-Sana

The Turkish lira recorded a decline of up to two percent for more than eight lira against the dollar today, to continue its losses this week.

Reuters reported that the pound fell to 8.55 against the US currency.

The Turkish lira is currently 26 percent lower than its level at the end of 2019.

The Turkish currency continues to deteriorate due to the deteriorating political and economic conditions in the country as a result of the policies of Recep Tayyip Erdogan's regime and its repressive measures that led to a decline in tourism and investments and a decrease in the country's foreign exchange earnings.
