The French cosmetics giant L'Oréal announced on Friday in a press release its intention to sell the Cosmeurop cosmetics production site located in Strasbourg to the Superga group, just a few months after having acquired it from Clarins.

L'Oréal management announced this project to Cosmeurop employees on Thursday, while committing to remain a
“partner”
of the site
“for a minimum period of 3 years”

release sent to AFP, confirming information of the Latest News from Alsace.
The group has eleven other factories in France, including two
"specialized in the production of perfumes"
, which
"cover short and medium-term production needs"
.
He presents Superga as a
“French family group”
and specifies that the latter has undertaken
“not to proceed with a plan to safeguard employment over 3 years”.
The transaction should be finalized in spring 2021. L'Oréal acquired Cosmeurop in the first half of 2020, as part of the takeover of the Clarins “fragrance” division.
