French power plants produced 379.5 TWh in 2019 and the group initially targeted a range of 375 to 390 TWh for 2020, but the health crisis has shaken up its organization and led it to revise this objective downwards.
First reduced to around 300 TWh in April, it was then raised several times to finally be set at a level "
close to 335 TWh
" in mid-December. On this occasion, EDF also revised upwards its gross operating surplus (EBITDA) target to "
an amount equal to or slightly greater
" to 16 billion euros in 2020, whereas it had hitherto expected a range of 15.2 to 15.7 billion euros.
