Reuters reported that gold fell 0.1 percent to 1939.79 dollars an ounce.
US gold futures fell 0.1 percent to 1944.10 dollars, while silver rose 0.1 percent to 27.24 dollars, platinum fell 0.9 percent to 1060.47 dollars, and palladium increased 0.3 percent to 2380.10 dollars.
