Oil prices retreated today, ending a rally that began at the end of last October due to production cuts.
Reuters reported that Brent crude fell by 0.5 percent to $ 54.79 a barrel, after dropping 2.3 percent last Friday.
US crude fell by 0.7 percent to $ 52.15 a barrel, after it fell 2.3 percent in the previous session.
