The Real Estate Bank clarified that its clients can benefit from the electronic payment service for electricity, communication and water bills, and fees for the transport and traffic directorates, passports and the criminal record in Damascus and its countryside, from the customer’s account in the bank.

The bank’s electronic payment manager, Samer Suleiman, stated in a statement to SANA that if you subscribe to the “Internet Bank” service, the customer can use the same username and password to log into the window for bill payment on the website and then choose the type of invoice to be paid and fill in the data to complete the process Repayment.

Suleiman explained that in the event of not subscribing to the “Internet Bank” service, a request can be submitted to subscribe to the bill-paying service at any of the bank’s branches for an annual subscription fee of 1,000 Syrian Pounds only, and within 24 hours a message arrives via the subscriber’s mobile containing the password, noting that it is obtained Username when submitting the subscription request.

Suleiman believed that it is better for the customer to change the password upon receiving it by text message for the sake of information security. This is available on the bank’s website while logging in to the window for bill payment.

Suleiman indicated that the commissions for paying the bills are symbolic, paid by the source of the bill for basic services and amount to 10 Syrian pounds in the event that the value of the claim, i.e. the "bill", is equal to or less than 500 pounds and 25 pounds if the claim value is between 501 and 1000 pounds and is 100 pounds from 1001 pounds and above. .

Suleiman pointed out that the customer bears the commission for all other services such as fees, service allowances, traffic offenses and fines as a fixed value of 100 liras, to which a percentage of the claim amount is added to the “invoice” in case the claim is equal to or less than 5,000 liras, and the commission does not exceed 4,000 liras for any claim. Above one million pounds, whatever the amount.
