The title of the large distribution group has practically returned to its level before the formalization of the proposed merger with Couche-Tard.

The title of the Carrefour group plunged more than 6% Monday morning after the failure of a merger with the Canadian group Couche-Tard, following a veto from the French government on a merger.

Around 10:50 a.m. (9:50 a.m. GMT), the title of the retail group lost 6.26% to 15.57 euros, thus regaining practically the level around which it was evolving before the formalization of the project of rapprochement with the Canadian last Wednesday.
