The Export Development and Promotion Authority announced the opening of the registration of applications for affiliation of companies exporting agricultural products to the accreditation program for marketing the citrus season beginning of next March.
In a letter that SANA received a copy of, the authority stipulated that the company be registered in the companies ’register with the authority and have a commercial register specified for the purpose of importing and exporting the permitted materials, including vegetables, fruits and any other agricultural products, in addition to the company obtaining a financial clearance from the financial departments for the last cycle Financial, the financial commitment of the company and its credibility with foreign companies “reputation business”, provided that submitting applications to the authority’s office begins at the beginning of next March to study them and approve companies that meet the aforementioned conditions and to propose facilities that can be provided.
The Director General of the Authority, Al-Fayyad, explained in a statement to the representative of SANA that the accreditation program for marketing the citrus season comes within the framework of implementing the accreditation program for external marketing of Syrian agricultural products in cooperation between the Ministry of Economy and Foreign Trade represented by the Authority for Support and Development of Local Production and Exports and the Ministry of Agriculture and Agrarian Reform in implementation of the joint plan to support the citrus season For the season 2020-2021, which aims to qualify companies exporting agricultural products wishing to join the accreditation program, in a way that contributes to increasing their efficiency in managing the export process.
