The price of gold in the market today increased by 5,000 Syrian pounds according to the bulletin issued by the Craft Society for Crafting and Jewelry Making in Damascus, and the selling price of 160,000 Syrian pounds was recorded for a 21-carat gram and the purchase was 159,500 pounds, while the price of 18-carat gram, selling 137,143 pounds and buying 136643 pounds, and the global price of an ounce reached 182.51 US dollars .
The association circulated to the craftsmen of the necessity of adhering to the pricing issued by it and indicated that selling at a price higher than the specified price is considered a violation and its owner is exposed to legal violations and closing the shop and called for attending the annual conference of the Craft Society for Jewelery and Jewelery in Damascus.
