After Intermarché last week, it is Casino which, according to our information, has decided to make a gesture aimed at this fragile public.

"We started from the observation that they are in great financial precariousness and in complete disarray, hence the idea of ​​offering them an emergency aid system but also lasting", announces Melek Kocabicak, CSR director. and communication of the Casino brands.

First decision of the distributor: since Saturday February 6, and until June 30, 2021, students are offered a 10% reduction on all Casino brand products, i.e. some 10,000 references (food or not) and in all the brand's stores (Géant, supermarkets and mini markets).

In order to benefit from this offer, you will need to present your student card, but also download the Casino Max application.

Second initiative from this Wednesday February 10 (and until Sunday February 14): during their checkout, customers can buy vouchers of 2, 5 or 10 euros, corresponding to one, three or six full meals.

These donations will be donated to the regional branches of the Food Banks, which will then offer meals to these young people.

Still in the same vein, customers of the brand will be able to buy packed lunches (worth 5 euros) then given to food banks.
