The Prime Minister, Engineer Hussein Arnous, inaugurated the activities of the "Made in Syria" exhibition, which is specialized in exporting clothing and textiles, which is being held in the exhibition city in Damascus and organized by the Federation of Syrian Chambers of Industry and Trade and the Association of Syrian Exporters of Clothes and Textiles and will continue until the 14th of this month.

More than 360 companies specializing in men's and boy's clothing, lingerie, women's clothing, socks, cotton, fabrics and production requirements, in addition to shipping companies from different governorates, are participating in the exhibition, distributed among five main wings and spanning an area of ​​15,500 square meters.

In a statement to reporters, the Prime Minister saluted every Syrian industrialist, every workforce, and everyone who contributed to the development of local production and the return of the industry to prosperity and development, referring to the governmental efforts made to support and develop this industry, whose resonance and positive impact we note through this exhibition.

Eng. Arnous pointed out that more than 360 companies specialized in textile clothing of all kinds have participated in the presence of more than a thousand visitors who came to buy Syrian textile products and who expressed their admiration and appreciation for these products, their quality, quality, prices and competitiveness.

The Prime Minister affirmed that the government stands by the merchants and industrialists in a way that facilitates the export process, and the government is that the internal market has sufficiency while exporting the surplus, pointing out that what distinguishes this exhibition is that all products starting from the thread through their manufacturing, embroidery, design, detailing and all its details from the Syrian industry and this Something we cherish as Syrians.

As for the industrialists whose work stopped due to terrorism, Engineer Arnous explained that the government's efforts did not stop providing the necessary support to the industrialists and they were allowed to obtain administrative licenses, and many obstacles were also overcome, stressing that supporting industrial zones and cities is at the top of the list of government concerns that provide all support and facilities and focus on supporting Industrial and agricultural production.

For his part, Minister of Industry Ziad Sabbagh referred to what the Syrian industrialists presented during this stage and they sought with all their strength and effort to restore the glow of the Syrian industry, considering that this exhibition will be a starting point for more advanced exhibitions, and Syria will return to its position on the map of the global economy that it did not exit in One day despite all the attempts by which the enemies of the homeland sought to extricate Syria from the global economic map.

He indicated that this exhibition is a good development despite the unilateral measures and the systematic economic blockade on Syria, and this industry will remain in existence, and the best proof is the arrival of brothers from many Arab countries to visit this exhibition and get to know the Syrian products.
