The price of a gram of 21-carat gold today increased three thousand Syrian pounds in the local market today compared to its price yesterday.
According to the bulletin issued by the Craft Association for Crafting and Jewelry Making in Damascus, Sanaa received a copy of it, as the 21-carat gram of gold recorded a price of 170,000 liras sold and 169,500 liras for purchase, while the price of a gram of 18 carat gold was a price of 145,714 liras per sale and 145,214 pounds for purchase.
The association asked the craftsmen to adhere to the quotation issued by it, explaining that any other price is not correct, warning that any craftsman who sells higher than the price will bear legal accountability.
